An Andalusian salon

The lounges of the hotel Molino del Santo are perfect for relaxing and keeping warm on the hottest or coldest days. In one way or another we feel sheltered by the typical furniture of the Ronda region. The large fireplace that presides over the lounge makes it a perfect place to read a book and have a drink from the bar that is right next door.
Staff

Attentive staff

Many of our staff have been with us for many years and have learned to offer a friendly yet professional service. They want you to be part of the long list of customers who return time and time again to Molino del Santo.

We believe that our most important attribute is the staff who work at the hotel. We employ local people (except for one) and the owners take great pride in the responsibility with which they work to provide you with an efficient and professional yet friendly service. Most of the staff have worked with us more or less since we opened, some have only ever worked at Molino.

Reception: Paco Ramírez is the reception manager and keeps all the accounts. Inma Sanchez is the second manager and in charge of the restaurant. When she is in Reception, her main responsibility is the implementation of the hotel’s ISO Quality and 14001 (Environmental Protection). Paqui Hidalgo is the third employee and her responsibility is the communication with the clients.

Restaurant: Starting this season, we have three managers in the restaurant: Inma Sánchez, Victor Amaya and Pauli Elkin. They are responsible for the shift in which they work as well as welcoming and taking orders. They all speak excellent English and are at your disposal. In addition to the managers, Diego Castaño, Barbi Garcia, Paqui Román and Patricia Mesa work in the restaurant and have a lot of experience.

Kitchen: The chefs are Reme Palacios, who has been working at Molino for twenty-seven years, and Alberto Guzman, an experienced and creative chef, trained at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería Artxanda in Bilbao. Manoli Román and Andrés Aguilar work with them as shift managers. We have a team of assistants who do all the preparation and cleaning: Jaqueline Castaño, Mari Carretero and Rocío Ródenas.

Maintenance and gardens: Paco López is the head of maintenance. He is a phenomenon as he can fix almost anything within his reach. Sergio Amaya takes care of our gardens and helps with maintenance, as well as painting the buildings.

Cleaning: We think we have one of the best cleaning teams in the world. Juani Tornay is in charge, with her work Veronica Amaya and Eva Palacios. They have all worked at the hotel for more than fifteen years and always show responsibility and professionalism for their work.

Food (breakfast, lunch + dinner) was AMAZING. Victor (sweetest man ever!) and Moises (gave the BEST service) were our waiters. The rest of the staff were also amazing. Especially reception staff who were extremely helpful and flexible...they made our trip even better. 100% recommend.

Great staff, lovely facilities and a really good restaurant - reasonably priced - to boot with a shady terrace accompanied by the sound of the rushing river beside. 300m walk to the station where you can hop a train to Ronda or Algeciras. I'll definitely be back.

Wonderful place in magical setting next to a rushing stream. The people here are very welcoming and attentive. The rooms have views of the pool, the river or the surrounding mountains. The bed are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant alone is worth the trip to this somewhat remote and peaceful place. Ronda is only a 15 min drive away but you might not want to ever leave here. Highly recommended.
