Cuevo Del Gato (Cat Cave Walk)
This gentle 4km route takes around 80 minutes and follows a flat, scenic path through the valley, making it accessible for almost everyone. No climbs, no rush, just an easy stroll surrounded by nature as the landscape slowly leads you towards one of the area’s most famous natural spots: the Cat Cave.
The walk itself is relaxed and peaceful, ideal for a low-effort morning or an unhurried afternoon. The path is well-trodden and forgiving underfoot, so you can focus on enjoying the views, spotting wildlife, or chatting as you go.
And then there’s the reward at the end. On a hot day, the Cat Cave is irresistible. The water is clear, refreshing – the water does come straight from the mountains though, so can be quite nippy!
One thing to note: access depends on the stepping stones, which can change with water levels. It’s always worth checking with reception before you set off to make sure they’re passable.
Easy, beautiful and refreshingly different, the Cat Cave walk is a little adventure with a very cool finish.
